Every couple of
months we have Wella training in-house with Colour Expert & Educator Wendy
Crofts. To this she brings a wealth of knowledge and years of education
training, which combine to give us the most up-to-date colour techniques and
this time was no exception. With a mass of blonde models at our disposal we
created, corrected and inspired some fantastic colour choices, all culminating
in a bespoke Autumn/Winter Blonde Collection, which any stylist would be proud
of.
We managed to
find a fantastic variation of hair lengths and model ages, with an array of
colours at the forefront of it all.
Here’s a bit
about some of the models, to give you an idea of the processes involved:
Charlie (Senior Stylist)
and Matthew (Senior Assistant) paired up to create a subtle look for model Charlotte,
working with panelling colour in foil packets to contrast against a slightly
deeper base. The panels were taken to a light blonde whilst putting a rich and
warm deep mink hue to the rest of the hair, with the panelling falling across
the face to soften the features.
Taking on the
task of completely transforming model Tasha from a striking white blonde with a
darker sub section, to a block copper tone was no mean feat, but Jonathan (Stylist)
managed to pull it off to soften her features and bring out the sea green of
her stunning eyes. After 6 years of being so blonde, it was a big decision on
the part of Tasha, but the results were phenomenal.
Vibrant tones
through blonde hair are seen on all the major high streets around the country.
This was something that Angie (Senior Stylist) wanted to emulate with Jodie,
with a rose blonde toner over a new oil-based cream bleach, that is much kinder
to the hair.
